Matthew 6:19-24

Jesus addresses one of Christianity's greatest rivals - materialism - by asking who truly has your heart. He warns against storing up earthly treasures that decay and can be stolen, instead calling us to invest in heavenly treasures. Money becomes dangerous when it creates spiritual blindness, making us unable to see our own greed. Jesus declares we cannot serve both God and money, as they demand competing loyalties. The solution isn't willpower but experiencing God's grace through Christ, who became poor so we could become truly rich.
